Strong winds create problems with ferry schedules in Greece

Strong winds of up to 9 Beaufort that hit Greece on Tuesday caused problems to ferry schedules at different ports across the country, ANA reports.

In Piraeus port, the Super jet Catamaran for Serifos, Sifnos, Milos, Folegandros, Ios, and Santorini (Thira) remained moored at the port, while the Diagoras ferry for Kavala, Limnos, Mytilene, Chios, Vathi, Fournoi, Aghios Kirikos and Patmos was also cancelled.

Other ferry trips to Rhodes, Chios and Kavala were called off as well.
