Greek port authorities extend sailing ban due to gale-force winds

Greek port authorities in Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio extended the ban on sailing on Wednesday afternoon due to gale-force winds in the Aegean Sea reaching up to 9 and 10 Beaufort in places, ANA reports.

In a late afternoon update, authorities said that there is still no hydrofoil service in the Argosaronic Islands (which include Aegina, Poros, Hydra and Spetses).

The Keramoti-Thasos line is operating normally, while the Volos-Sporades Islands line is serviced solely by conventional ferries.
