Zakynthos – Kyllini ferry link in the Ionian Sea restored after winds subside

Following two days of being cut off from the rest of Greece, Zakynthos was once again linked to the mainland on Thursday evening as the Kyllini-Zakynthos ferry line resumed operation, ANA reports.

Ferries had been unable to sail due to strong southerly winds reaching up to 9 Beaufort in the Ionian Sea, stranding many drivers in the port of Kyllini.
