The Deputy Ministry of Shipping announced on Friday that no bids have been submitted by shipping transport companies, despite the initial interest in obtaining the relevant documents of the European Open Tender Procedure for the Establishment of a Passenger Maritime Link between Cyprus and Greece, CNA reports.
The Deputy Ministry notes that the lack of bidders may be attributed to the economical uncertainty as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, which undoubtedly affects the shipping sector.
