Thirteen seamen's unions declare strike in Greece on Wednesday

Thirteen seamen’s unions have declared a 24-hour nationwide strike for all ship categories on Wednesday, June 16, from 00:01 until 24:00, against the new labor bill. According to sources, the Piraeus passenger ships association will have recourse to justice.

Debate on the government’s draft bill on labor law began in the parliamentary plenum at 9:00 on Monday, with all sides expecting a heated discussion spanning all aspects of government policy and not confined to labor law alone.
