Ships stay docked due to gale-force winds at Aegean Sea

Ferries remained docked at several Greek ports on Tuesday, as north-northeasterly winds in the Aegean Sea reached 9 and 10 on the Beaufort scale, ANA reports.

The ban on sailing from Piraeus, Rafina, and Lavrio is still in effect, while the schedules for the Argosaronic Gulf are only executed by closed-type boats.

Also shut down are the lines of Aghia Marina-Nea Stira, Volos-Sporades Islands, Arkitsa-Edipsos, Kavala-Prinos, Keramoti-Limenas at Thassos, and Alexandroupolis-Samothrace.
