Emerald Kaia: Emerald Cruises’ new superyacht debuts in the Greek islands in 2026

The maiden cruise of Emerald Cruises & Tours’ new ship, Emerald Kaia, will include calls at Piraeus and the Greek islands, and will take place in April 2024, inaugurating its first season in the Mediterranean.

Emerald Kaia is a new generation superyacht, with a capacity of 128 guests, offering luxurious spaces and innovative experiences, upgrading the yacht cruise experience.

The ship will depart on April 4, 2026 from Limassol, Cyprus and will sail an 11-day cruise entitled “Cyprus to the Acropolis”. The itinerary in the waters of the eastern Mediterranean includes a call at Rhodes, while guests will then have the opportunity to admire the volcanic landscape of Nisyros and the Byzantine treasures of Kos.

Bodrum follows, a visit to Kusadasi and a private classical music concert will be held within the archaeological site of Ephesus.

Then, a call at Patmos, Delos, Mykonos, Spetses is included, while the cruise will conclude in Athens. During their visit to Greece, passengers will have the opportunity to experience Easter celebrations and customs firsthand.

Greek island visits are also included in Emerald Kaia’s 12-day “Greek Islands from the Corinth Canal to the Bosporus” program, which will begin on April 14 and will include hiking in volcanic areas, Turkish cooking classes and a visit to the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus.

The cruise, departing from Athens, will pass through the Corinth Canal, and will offer guests experiences from the picturesque town of Itea, the port of Katakolo and Ancient Olympia, Chania, Santorini and Kusadasi. It will conclude in Istanbul.

A third 11-day cruise, “A voyage from Greece to Cyprus”, departing from Athens on October 21, 2026, will take guests to some of the sights of the Mediterranean, starting from Athens. Included are calls to Delos, Mykonos, Patmos, Santorini, Kos, Rhodes, Bodrum, Antalya, Paphos and Larnaca.

Emerald Cruises’ Emerald Raiya, currently under construction, is also set to begin its voyages in the Mediterranean waters in June 2027.
