The collaboration and twinning of HYMC (Hellenic Yacht Masters Club) and ENPEN (Union of Shipping Agents of Greek Islands) was formalized at an event organized by the former at the Vouliagmeni Marina.
In a joint statement, the Boards of Directors of the two Associations set as their goal the strengthening and improvement of their cooperation, through joint actions, objectives, and initiatives, addressing together all relevant Ministries, Services, Organizations, and Authorities, with the aim of promoting and upgrading maritime tourism – yachting – in our country.
At the same time, they expressed their belief that, as ambassadors of Greek yachting and being fully aware of the problems affecting the sector, particularly regarding the ports of our island homeland and their deficiencies, they can help directly and effectively in solving these issues by proposing feasible and implementable practices to the responsible authorities for the enhancement of our maritime tourism.
“The alignment of the two Associations, with the experience and knowledge that accompanies it, we are fully convinced, will prove extremely useful and effective in addressing the complex problems that concern the maritime tourism of our island homeland, supporting the responsible authorities with proposals and solutions that will safely lead to the achievement of our common goal: the development of our maritime tourism,” states a related announcement by ENPEN.
