Gone are the days of being bored while waiting for the bus in Thessaloniki, as the local transport ministry has launched a fabulous initiative for their commuters using the bus 64 route, which connects Filyro to the centre of Thessaloniki, greekcitytimes.com reports.
Passengers on this line now have the option of electing from a range of books, which are piled up on a wooden book rack, shaped as a tree. This alternative and ultra-cool library allows commuters to read through the book as they wait for the bus, or they can borrow it and read it on their way home and return it when finished.
This great initiative is aimed at entertaining passengers with a good old fashion novel, as opposed to smart phones, while they wait for their transport to reach their destination.
