Ferries remained moored at Piraeus, Lavrio, Rafina and other ports as weathers reached 10 Beaufort in the Aegean Sea.
After a weekend of bad weather, with heavy snowfall in th e north, storms were forecast for many parts of the country on Monday with conditions expected to improve from Tuesday.
The Rio-Antirrio, Keramoti-Kavala-Thassos, Alexandroupolis-Samothrace ferry links were not operating, yet, ferries to the Saronic Gulf departed on Monday morning.
Passengers planning to travel are advised to contact the local port authorities or travel agencies before setting off.
