Strong winds are blowing on Saturday across Greece, reaching 8 to 9 Beaufort. As a result, a sailing ban has been put into effect in several ports, ANA reports.
More specifically, in the port of Rafina, ships with destinations on the islands of the Cyclades are docked while the lines Corfu-Igoumenitsa, Lixouri Argostoli, Lefkada-Mytika Aitoloakarnania, Kyllini-Zakynthos, and Kyllini-Kefalonia do not operate.
Due to the strong winds, the ships from Volos to Sporades islands and from Kavala to Prinos Thassos are also docked.
