The seamen’s union federation PNO on Wednesday announced its decision to join a 24-hour strike on November 20 called by the General Confederation of Employees of Greece (GSEE), ANA reports.
The central demand of the strike is action to deal with the housing crisis, restore collective labour law and the reduction of employee purchasing power. It noted that Greek seamen were particularly hard hit by all the above problems.
